In 1957 Bert and Mary Greaves took over the Star Inn in Bingley as landlord and landlady. Shortly afterwards Bert bought his first taxi and soon had, not only a fleet of Star Taxis but also a thriving wedding and funeral business.

Years later these businesses were forsaken to make way for Star Coaches, a business in Bingley, which lasted for many years.

When son Bill decided to start his own garage business in 1970, it was an opportunity to carry on the family name.

So, almost forty years on, Bill's son Nick AMIMI and his able staff manage Star Garage. Mum Ann assists with the paper work. Bill using his vast experience and expertise, selects and sells quality used cars.

Bert would have been very proud to see that the 'Star' family business name lives on.
